Rare flower

Lalbaugh happened to host a flower show which exhibited rare flowers. This was one.

Casual intro to Garden city

Before Bangalore became an international IT hub, it used to be known as 'Garden city'. We wanted to catch a glimpse and headed to Lalbaugh botanical gardens. It turned out to be a pleasant stroll.

A wild Christmas

Instead of being conventional we decided to 'go wild'. So we went to Banargatta national park. Well, there was nothing wild. No I am lying. The road to the park was wild - with all its potholes and then there were few ill-fed tigers, lions and panthers, which I couldn't snap because I wasn't smart enough to bribe the driver. Still I managed to get few good pictures.

Though it wasn't as expected, this Christmas was indeed wild. We won't forget it.

Good luck gal

You see the gal with specs. Well, she is leaving to Florida for higher studies. She gave us lunch treat in Spice Garden and then we moved to near by 'Corner House' for deserts.

I seem to have brought in the lucky charm of packing one person from every team that I associate with to the US.

Thy kingdom is everywhere

It is absolutely amazing, how a simple bus conductor filled with passion, came to seize the hearts of millions and hold it so for many years, just with his style.

If Hollywood is a land of dreams, its south Indian counterpart is nothing less. Regan and Schwarzenegger are there, so do MGR, N T Ramarao and Jayalalitha here. But I don't know of any parallel to the story of Rajinikanth! He is a lucky super star.

Pollution

Compared to Chennai, Bangalore is a small city. But the quantum of growth in the past decade is enormous. The city is not able to cope with the growth. With construction everywhere, pollution is at a peak level. It is estimated that 16% of Bangalore children suffer from Asthma.

I too got sick. For the past few weeks, I've been having cold/fever/wheezing.

This crazy...

I told you about the inter-departmental cricket matches, right? Here is the team manager, being happy for the wicket. Did I tell you he is also the project manager, reporting to Vice President?

Smart kids

Over the weekend, I visited my cousin's house. We had great laugh and good food. I was impressed by the smartness of their kids, as always. In general, the current generation is way above ours!

Atlast...

I found a flat near my office. Over last weekend, I moved all of my stuff. But I've been working so much that I didn't find time to arrange everything. For the weekend, I am at my sister's house. Hopefully nextweek, I'll find time to arrange.
